RSHV Guided Auger Boring Solutions

RSHV Guided Auger Boring modifies the traditional Guided Auger Boring process and contains many of the same advantages of the pilot-rod Guided Auger Boring process. An RSHV steering head is added to allow control/changes of both the horizontal and vertical alignment, allowing for an accurate and controlled drilling process. Further tooling and modifications can be utilised to allow boring to be carried out in even challenging ground conditions such as rock or ground containing cobbles and boulders.

Advantages:

  • Some of the standard advantages of all the trenchless techniques like how we don’t need to dig up loads of ground, which is useful in urban areas, environmentally sensitive areas, areas of natural beauty or other culturally sensitive areas – just a general idea for you to take from other sections and reword although I can provide wording if needed. E.g. lift sections like environmentally friendly / ‘no slurry’ from auger boring; minimal surface disruption from Pipe Eating; uninterrupted operations from rock boring; smaller footprint as no need for open cutting – just the ones that are applicable to all the different techniques

  • The usage of both horizontal and vertical steering allows for a greater degree of control and accuracy by using both optical and digital control mechanisms.

  • Unlike other Guided systems, RSHV Guided Auger Boring can bore through non-displaceable ground conditions including rock, dense sand and gavels, and compacted conglomerates with the addition of a hammer system making this the perfect technique where accuracy is required in difficult ground.
